Freight Forwarding: 

Freight Forwarding can be described as all activities involved in arranging the movement of goods from the supplier or the manufacturer directly to the buyer or the consignee.  Forwarders do not specifically move goods themselves but will contract with various suppliers through the process to facilitate the movement.  Typically, this process is by air or sea and is over international borders. 


Exports:

Cargo Exports can be described as all activities involved in collection of cargo from the customers doorstep, arranging of bookings directly with the airline or shipping line, drafting of pre alert documentation and follow up with our agent network partners to ensure that the consignee receives the cargo.


Customs Clearing:

Customs Clearing is the activity of declaring imported and exported goods to local Revenue authorities on behalf of the importer or exporter.  It is also the responsibility of the Clearing Agent to disburse Duties and Taxes on behalf of the customer.  The Clearing agent must have the necessary knowledge and skills of relevant tariffs as well as knowledge of import regulations. 


Financing Facilities:

A Clearing agent will typically also provide payment facilities to their Customers.


Distribution:

All activities involved in ensuring the freight reaches the door of the customers warehouse facility or office.


Road Freight:

All activities involved in long haul movement of containerized cargo.


Warehousing:

Facilitation of warehousing Customers goods in our own tailor-made warehouse facility.  The facility can be used for short or long-term requirements.


Insurance:

Facilitating Marine and short-term insurance on behalf of the customer.


Pre-Shipment Estimates:

A priced estimate can be done in advance of any cargo movement to provide the customer with an accurate representation of what the cost of shipping the goods will be.


Documentation requirements:

Any or all documentary requirements to facilitate cargo movement.


Freight Audits:

Freight Audits can be conducted to assist customers in making sure that their current agents are billing them correct and accurate charges.


Customised Reporting:

Assist in any client specific reporting requirements from status reports to Costing Reports.
